Harnois Énergies is proud to announce the opening of the first convenience store under its new Proxi banner in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli.

Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, September 27, 2018 – Harnois Énergies is proud to announce the opening of the first convenience store under its new Proxi banner in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region.

Harnois Énergies has chosen the name Proxi to consolidate all of its convenience store banners (Le magasin, Marché Express, Quali-T, Le dépanneur and Proxi in the Quebec City area) under a single identity. Eventually, about 100 sites will be converted to the new image. Over the next year, our customers will see changes not only at corporate sites but also among retailers who choose Proxi and offer the same marketing as a result.

This new brand will have the undeniable advantage of standardization. Customers can count on seeing the same products, specials and displays at all sites. In addition, the new image will make it easier to penetrate the English-speaking market. From now on, there will be one banner and one name on everyone’s lips—Proxi!

Loyalty program

In addition to Proxi convenience stores, we are launching Proxi Extra, the company’s new loyalty program. This will be a continuation of the current Le magasin program, which has been available in convenience stores of the same name. The terms and conditions of the Proxi Extra card have yet to be defined and will be known at a later date. The Le magasin card will remain in effect until then.

The new Saint-Jean-Port-Joli rest area, which opens today, is part of Harnois Énergies’s commitment to increase its services in Quebec. The site will offer travellers a corporate convenience store, six Esso banner gas pumps, two fast food restaurants, Subway and McDonald’s, as well as two electric vehicle charging stations.
