Harnois Énergies is proud to announce its partnership with the Government of Quebec, Alstom and HTEC in the project of the first green hydrogen passenger train in North America. This pilot project will begin in June 2023 on the Charlevoix Railway.
The Alstom’s Coradia iLint train will transport passengers between Parc de la Chute-Montmorency and the city of Baie-St-Paul along the St. Lawrence River during summer 2023. Harnois Énergies will be responsible for the production and transportation of the green hydrogen, while HTEC Quebec will provide technological support for this project in terms of hydrogen storage and refueling the train.
