The green hydrogen train is on its way!
In February, Harnois Énergies announced a partnership with the Quebec government, Alstom and HTEC for the first green hydrogen-powered passenger train in North America. The train was officially launched on June 17 at the Montmorency station in Quebec City.
By partnering this project, Harnois Énergies is positioning itself not only as a hydrogen producer, but also as a distributor. In fact, the hydrogen used will be produced at our Quebec City station and then transported via high-pressure tanks to Alstom’s Baie St-Paul site. Harnois Énergies is looking to the future and keeping an open mind. Energy diversification is at the heart of the company’s priorities.
